Mortgage professionals participating in this course will learn Agency guidelines for income calculation and documentation. With guidance from an Essent facilitator, participants will learn to interpret the cadence with which a borrower’s income is received and also practice calculating the base, monthly, qualifying income in nine separate exercises. The practice exercises include various salaried, military, teacher and non-taxable income scenarios.
