Andrew Olmem is a managing partner in the Washington D.C. office and a member of the Public Policy, Regulatory & Political Law and Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement practices. Prior to Mayer Brown, he served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Deputy Director of the U.S. National Economic Council (NEC) where he played a key role in the passage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Steve Sorge is responsible for public policy, industry relations and GSE relations at Essent. He also represents Essent on industry trade groups including USMI, Housing Policy Council, ALTA and the MBA. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, including managing counterparty relations and various risk management roles in the home loan business.
