1. ELIGIBILITY Limited to Employees of Current Master Policy Holders Only: To be eligible for the Essent Guaranty, Inc. (“Essent” or “Sponsor”) Summer Bash promotion (the “Promotion”), participants must be U.S. residents, 18 years or older, who are employees of mortgage lending companies that originate first residential mortgages and hold an Essent Master Policy at the time of entry through time prize is awarded and claimed. The Promotion is also subject to any policies of participants’ employers governing employee participation and receipt of prizes/awards in vendor promotions. Eligibility is expressly not dependent upon the referral of business, and it is not necessary to submit an application to Essent for mortgage insurance in order to participate in the Promotion.

2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD. The Promotion will commence at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Time, July 9, 2018 and ends on 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on August 5, 2018 (the “Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by Essent during the Promotional Period, in accordance with these Official Rules.

3. NATURE OF PROMOTION. Essent’s 2018 Summer Camp will highlight the value of our online tools and resources to persons employed within the current Essent Master Policy Holder network through weekly camp “activities.” The four-week camp will promote a different “MI survival tool(s)” each week (Week 1: EssentIQ, Week 2: Essentials Worksheets, Week 3: Rate Finder, Week 4: EssentEngage). Participants join in the camp activities by entering their name for a chance to win weekly prizes (awarded to the first 500 entrants who respond to the entry form confirmation email), as well as one of 40 Summer Camp Survival Kits. For each entry, participants will receive a different Summer Camp tool/resource badge. All entrants will have their names entered into a drawing to be held at the end of “camp” to win one of 40 grand prizes. Prize winners will be drawn at random from all entries.

4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE. To participate, an entrant must submit requested information through the Promotion’s microsite at essent.us/2018summercamp. Such information includes entrant’s name, entrant’s employer’s name, entrant’s email address, entrant’s job title and role, entrant’s address and phone number, and a rating of and comments about the featured weekly tool(s). One entry per qualified participant per week is permitted for a maximum of four entries.  Any  attempt  by  an  entrant  to  obtain more  than  the four entries will  void  that  entrant’s  entries and  that  entrant  may  be  disqualified.  Additional entries submitted by persons in violation of this condition shall be stricken and deemed a nullity. 

5. PRIZES. Weekly prizes will consist of individual camp-themed items valued at $20 or less. Grand prizes will consist of 40 Summer Camp Survival Kits consisting of a YETI Panga 50 Duffle Bag valued at $299.99, a YETI Hopper Flip 8 Cooler valued at $199.99 and a four-pack of YETI Lowball Rambler® 10 oz. cups valued at $79.99. At the end of the Promotional Period, 40 prize winners will be randomly chosen by blind drawing from all eligible participants who have entered the Promotion.  Essent will notify the prize winners of their selection.  At the time of prize redemption, participants must be employed by the qualified mortgage lender identified at registration (participants must redeem prizes prior to changing employers, or forfeit the prize). The winners must respond to the notification email or call within seven days.  If these winners do not respond to the prize notification within seven;’ days, or if the prize notification is undeliverable or the phone number or email address provided is incorrect or not functioning, the prize will be forfeited and another eligible winner will be selected from the remaining entrants.  Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded.  No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed, except that Essent reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value if a prize cannot be awarded for any reason.

6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY:  BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, ENTRANT RELEASES AND AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS ESSENT, ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUBSIDIARIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION REASONABLE ATTORNEYS’ FEES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE.

7. GENERAL.  Essent reserves the right to cancel, suspend, terminate, modify or amend the Promotion at any time. Employees of Essent and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and the immediate families (parent, child, sibling, spouse) of such employees, are not eligible to participate. Employees of Essent’s direct competitors are not eligible to participate. Any violations of these Official Rules, any attempt to tamper with the website or the Promotion, or any attempt to otherwise defraud Essent, as determined by Essent in its sole discretion, will result in the individual committing such act(s) being disqualified from the Promotion. Upon disqualification, the disqualified participant’s entry will be forfeited and the participant will not receive any cash, credit or other value in conjunction with the forfeiture. In addition to all other remedies available to Essent at law or at equity, Essent may also prosecute any fraudulent or other illegal activities to the full extent of the law.

8. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning any prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

9.  PUBLICITY RELEASE:  Subject to applicable law, each winner irrevocably grants Essent the right to use the winner’s name and/or biographical material for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in all forms of media, worldwide in perpetuity, without any obligation or consideration except for the awarding of the prize to the winner.

10.  DISCLAIMERS: Any attempted form of participation in this Promotion other than as set forth in these Official Rules is void.  Sponsor is not responsible for communications with incorrect contact information; for disruptions in email or other electronic communications; or for any inadvertent typos or errors. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries and subject such entrants to disqualification. If this Promotion is corrupted or impaired by virus, worm, software malfunction or other causes, Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion without notice.

11. COMPLETE INFORMATION: Entrants must ensure that the information they provide is complete and accurate, and submitted in a timely manner. Essent is not responsible if any entrant’s e-mail address, telephone, or other contact information does not work, has filters that impeded promotion-related messages, or is changed during the Promotional Period or prior to notification of prize winners. If a dispute arises concerning the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the registered account holder of the e-mail address of record at the time of entry, if that person meets all other eligibility criteria; otherwise the entry may be disqualified and any potential prize won will be forfeited in Sponsor’s sole discretion. A registered account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by the entity responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential winners may be required to provide Sponsors with proof that he/she is the registered account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning entry.

12. PRIVACY NOTICE: By entering the promotion, entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information (name, address, e-mail address) by Essent for the purposes of running the Promotion including naming the winners,  and to contact entrant for commercial purposes.  Essent may also use such information for the following purposes:

•             To administer promotions which customers elect to participate in;

•             To communicate with you and respond to your inquiries and requests;

•             To respond to government regulator requests for information;

•             To enforce Essent’s rights; and

•             As otherwise necessary or appropriate in connection with our business.

13.  GOVERNING LAW:  This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  All issues and questions concerning this Promotion will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.   

14.  TAXES AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE: All taxes incurred on prizes and/or any (unspecified) expenses relative to the use and enjoyment of prizes (as applicable) are the participant’s sole responsibility.
